Part-time 9 hours ago Full Job Description Job Description $20,000 Sign-On Bonus! The Med/Surg RN coordinates total nursing care for patients admitted to the Med/Surg Unit.
Participates in patient and family education.
Provides leadership by working cooperatively with the interdisciplinary team in accordance with the philosophy and mission of AMH and the Standards of Nursing Practice.
Provides an environment conducive to patient safety and comfort.
Demonstrates competence in general nursing skills including pre and post-operative nursing care.
The RN will perform an admission assessment and subsequent assessment in a systemized, organized, and timely manner.
The Med/Surg RN must demonstrate the knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
The RN will possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patients' status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs.
The RN ill seek educational resources and creates learning experiences to enhance and maintain current knowledge and skills for his or her continuing competence in nursing practice and individual professional growth.
Job Requirements $20,000 Sign-On Bonus! Shift and Weekend Differential pay offered for this position! 30 hours per week-Third Shift 6:
45 pm-7:
15 am Current RN license in the State of Indiana CPR certification required ACLS and PALS certification required 6 months of hire Eligible for medical coverage on your first day of employment, all other benefits will be effective the 1st of the month following hire date!.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
